  1. It is amazing to see how Chennai Province starts its 6th Provincial Chapter with the theme "Living our missionary vocation".
LIVING: With the Eucharist as source of true Life and communion.
OUR: Thinking community. Gathered together the 45 Chapter members representing the whole Province and with Fr. Josep Abella, representing the whole Congregation.
MISSIONARY: with many of your members working in difficult mission, in India and abroad; with the rewarding presence of Fr. Rwezahura, as fruit of your commitment to Tanzania and the tribal claretians from Jharkhand.
VOCATION: Yes, because the calling is something dynamic, non just a thing of the past in our lives. The Lord, the Church and the World keep calling us to a life and mission that we must discover together.
I thank Fr. Raj and all of you for the great work that Channai Province has done for the missions in the Congregationdone, and at the same time I will accompany your discussions and decision making with my prayers.
Since I know many of you, I feel close to you.
    United in mission,
    Angel Ochagavia, cmf
